7 March 2022 - 13.15-14.15 GMT (rescheduled): CHIR hosts research seminar with Dr Katie Rose Sanfilippo presenting her work on 'Using music to support maternal mental health in The Gambia'

Join us for the next research seminar at City's School of Health and Psychological Sciences featuring Dr Katie Rose Sanfilippo talking about her work on 'Using music to support maternal mental health in The Gambia'. She will discuss a research study that aimed to investigate the feasibility of implementing a community health intervention through music engagement (CHIME) to reduce symptoms of perinatal common mental disorders in The Gambia, and discuss a public engagement project to create and perform new musical material to inform the wider community about the importance of maternal mental health. The seminar will be held online and is free for all to attend. More information & registration.

30 October 2019: Launch Event: Embedding Innovation in Healthcare

You are warmly invited to attend the Launch Event for the new interdisciplinary Centre for Healthcare Innovation Research (CHIR), based in Cass Business School & School of Health and Psychological Sciences, City, University of London. The focus of the centre's work is on the challenges of spreading and sustaining innovations in healthcare.

The event will set out CHIR's approach to these challenges, together with the valuable insights provided by distinguished speakers, drawn from research and practitioner communities in UK healthcare - Professor Trish Greenhalgh (University of Oxford) and Professor Marcel Levi (CEO, University College London Hospital)
