  • Nanomaterials laboratory equipped by synthesis, handling, mixing and glove box access fume hoods for multifunctional polymer composite and nanomaterials research
  • Vacuum assisted manufacturing equipment
  • Vacuum assisted ovens
  • Various NDI capabilities to ensure no void or manufacturing induced defects post nanocomposite manufacturing
  • Thermal and thermo-mechanical analysis suite
  • Access to the prestigious Keysight Laboratory equipment at the University for dielectric monitoring of nanomaterials and nanocomposites proposed in the research
  • Access to fibre optic sensors fabrication systems and kits for integration into, and monitoring of nanocomposites
  • Access to mechanical testing lab including conditioning chambers, infrared/high speed imaging cameras, digital image correlation systems, load cells and LVDTs etc.
  • Access to microscopy and diffraction characterization suite at the University
  • High performance computing with a broad range of finite element and molecular dynamics simulation packages including COMSOL, ANSYS, ABAQUS, LAMMPS, C++, MATLAB, etc.
